User's Guide

Welcome to the User Guide for Scarecrow! Scarecrow is designed to be used with the Axon™ Binary File format (ABF) from . It has slightly less functionality for extracting features from (time,Voltage) traces. Scarecrow uses the [pyabf](https://pypi.org/project/pyabf/) package to load abf files.

This user guide will describe the algorithms used to compute the various features. Although some are straightforward, some have made custom choices that users should be aware of to ensure the correct interpretation of calculated values.
